I’ve always had an affinity for numbers and problem-solving… probably because I was good at it. I remember at an early age my dad quizzing me on multiplication tables and feeling proud that I knew them.
I also remember a time when we were pulling the submersible pump from our well. With over 300 feet of piping, it was heavy. So I improvised a lever with a wrench and a length of pipe which made the process significantly easier. It just made sense to me.
So going into accounting was a natural fit.
After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and an MBA in Business Administration, I started as a bookkeeper for a small kitchen remodeling company.
I loved it but felt that I could do more.
So I started working for a bigger accounting firm where I became a partner and senior accountant.
After five years I decided again that I wanted a bigger challenge so started my firm. And I got one of the biggest compliments I could get: most of my clients followed me to my new practice.
Now, although I’m growing, I work to keep the feel of a small company. I work with a team of four highly skilled people so that I can provide individualized attention to each of my clients.
I would love to add you to my list of happy clients!
